A fun color combo and sketch challenge!

So this week the color combo challenge and the sketch challenge on SCS were both great but I had to combine them... well, decided to combine them. I love this color combo- makes me like Pacific Point so much more than I did! And who doesn't love Celery and Basic Gray?!! Once I got these colors out I was inspired by them to pull out my Whale Wishes stamp set which hasn't seen ink in a while. I've always loved tropical fish so these sets call my name.
I rotated the sketch, more due to a paper trimming error than anything else. I'm glad I did though, I think it works this way with the fish. The "bubbles" on the Pacific Point cardstock are in white ink with the Itty Bitty Backgrounds set that I haven't reached for in ages it seems. My plan was to use gray squares on the left, but I really like the contrast between the celery and pacific so that's how the scallop edge in Basic Gray came about. Funny thing is I LOVE Basic Gray and would normally design the card around it as a more prominent feature. That's why you gotta love challenges- they always get you out of the box!
Play along some time- they are fun! Glad you're here!
