Remember the old "Retired List"?? Well, now it's called the Last Chance list since the stamps and accessories listed are all now available for the last time EVER! This year the list has two great features: a 50% off section and a 25% off section that you won't want to miss!! You can also see the products from the entire list HERE.

For your convenience I am also going to link the .pdf versions so you can simply see the product name and it's new cost which you can then refer to in your catalog.

Love You Much Roundup!

Today is it, the last day to order the Love You Much bundle!

Not sure what I'm talking about? Click Here: I've Been Living Under a Rock. Just kidding, I know you aren't all Stampin' Up! junkies like some people. Seriously though, this bundle is a great deal and includes some really nice coordinating features- an adorable stamp set of 6, a large punch with three hearts (that perfectly aligns with one of the stamps!) and an entire pack of beautiful 12x12 paper which has some of the same elements in the designs! I'm not always big on bundles because they often include ONE item that I really don't care for or need. NOT THIS TIME! Just to prove it I'm going to do a round up of some of the cards I've done with this set and maybe a few of my friends' cards!

Still not sure?? How about this one , or this , or this one. Check out this amazing gallery all featuring this bundle. Ok Ok, I'll stop!

Finally, these are three of the card options at my Stamp-a-Stack class tonight! If you look carefully, these three all use the same cuts of paper (besides the punches pieces) but they can be reversed and layered in a different order. Also, the heart is cut out of the same white square that is on the other two. I wanted to offer alternatives for this card to show it's flexibility.

Thanks for visiting, and be sure to let me know if you would like to make a last minute order for this bundle! You can also shop on-line by clicking on the button to the right that says Shop On-Line (just under my profile picture).
Have a great weekend!

Fun new goodies- Sneak Peek!

UPS guy- Rob- gotta love him! He delivered another batch of goodies to me today. Don't worry, I didn't go crazy... just restocked some paper and ribbon and of course I took advantage of the Demo only preorder period for this Sneak Peek of a bundle available as a promo beginning Dec. 23rd (more details later) and in the new 2009 Catalog coming out in January! I know, new catalog already?! Hard to believe, but so exciting as always!

Anyway, Rob showed up just as I was thinking "hmmm, what set will I use for today's challenge on Splitcoast?" *Ding Dong* He can read my mind, I tell ya! (of course if he's not here by 10:45 am on delivery mornings he's in the dog house and he knows it). :)

So here is the first card I've made with the new set called Love You Much. It reminds me of a few very popular sets that I never purchased so I felt totally non-guilty for ordering it!! This sketch is today's SC203 (oops, make that Wednesday's as I'm scheduling this to post on Friday). I'm also playing along on a thread on SCS where you make a card for the person that posts below you (and get a card from the person you posted after)- FUN! If you want to try it out click here. Guess who posted just below me--- Lisa Henke! I get to send my card to a real live friend!
ETA: (11.20.08 I just found out that I am not permitted to post this to my blog until the bundle special is actually announced via the SU website so I am rescheduling this for Dec. 22. Keep in mind that this post was actually written 11.19.08)

Under the weather

Sorry for missing my DCBD post yesterday- after volunteering for my daughter's classroom for Christmas Craft Day in the morning I had to bring her home sick. Found out later that she has strep throat so no wonder she's been feeling so bad lately. Unfortunately I've been fighting a sinus thing off and on all week and am a bit down today which is when I'd hoped to get that card done. I may later, but for now I'm just posting this quick apology and update. Slinking off to blow my nose and play Disney Monopoly for a little while... Have a great day!

Ooh, thought I should add that Stampin' Up! has announced FREE SHIPPING now through December 23rd! Don't miss out on this rare opportunity. Also, they posted the Retiring Stamps list on Tuesday and are offering 10% off all stamp sets on that list. I'll post a link to the list later, but you can always go to www.stampinup.com to check it out (although currently the site is experiencing technical difficulties it looks like). Don't forget you are welcome to order on my website linked at the right!

Don't Miss The Spectacular Stampin' Up! Holiday Extravaganza Sale!

It's TOP SECRET! Even Stampin' Up! Demonstrators don't know yet but the excitement is in the air! Here's what I do know: For a limited time- Nov. 26-Dec. 1- we (you & I) can purchase any of the select Holiday Extravaganza bundles at a special promotional price--up to 50% off!

I also know the supplies are limited so this is a "while supplies last" sale, but it's the first of its kind since I've been a demonstrator (since 2004)!!! This sale is designed for you to conveniently place your orders on-line through your demonstrator's website.

Notice the link to the right? I have it linked to the On-line Store on the SU website for now since the official start isn't until tomorrow. I'll have a more precise link with DETAILS tomorrow!

Since this starts tomorrow, take a minute TODAY to register on-line. I've linked my website- you need to click Shop Now and then click Customer Login. This only takes a moment, but you'll be glad you did it ahead of time. You want to register, and enter your demonstrator's name, so that you pay 10% less than if you don't enter a demo's name. If you don't have a demo, enter my name (Kristin Moore) from Ohio.

If you have any questions feel free to let me know. I will be available electronically to help out!

Stop back tomorrow for all the great details! Thanks for visiting me today!

Chocolate & Chateau Bella Rub-ons!

Ooh, my two favorite things! Yes, I love rub-ons, there I said it! I especially love them in my scrapbooks because of the possibilities with them! So I made these two cards for today's Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. Also, since rub-ons are currently 20% off with a $20 order from SU I just had to play around with them and show some samples! This first card is using a layout from Becky Carafa- she has perfected the clean and simple style on cards and is often inspiring me! The focal point sentiment which fits perfectly in our Curly Label punch is a rub-on in the Chateau Bella collection, as well as the flourish thingys on the white part, and the rows of dots below the ribbon!

The second card is using rub-ons from this same collection, which just happen to perfectly coordinate with the Bella Rose Designer Series Papers in the SU catalog! This time I wanted to emphasize that all SU rub-ons come in more than one color. In this case, chocolate and white. The oval sentiment and the chocolate rose at the bottom are both rub-ons. Notice how the chocolate rose overlaps the edge of the pretty patterned paper? That's one of the reasons I like them so much- they can go nearly anywhere.
Inside this card I also used the white rose and leaves (next pic). On this I also used the felt ribbon in the current Mini Catalog as well as the Top Note die with the Big Shot. I've been getting more use out of that Big Shot than I ever dreamed, and I only have TWO dies so far!
These rub-ons come in 12" long packages so some are designed in long strips which are perfect for edges and borders on 12x12 scrapbook pages. I recently purchased the school set (can't remember name right now?!) and will do some pages with it before long- I can't wait because I really don't have much school themed stuff otherwise.
OK, that's enough blah blah blah. Hope you like! Go pull out your rub-ons if you haven't in a while. What? Don't have any? Then don't forget to check out the promotion that is going on right now! Thanks for stopping by!

"Green" Ornaments!

Yes, I know they're not actually green, but they are both made with recylcled materials! I don't know about you but I have GOBS of ribbon! And I use it- enough to empty a spool every now and then. I got the idea from a few fellow stampers over the years (in other words I have no idea where or from whom) but the gist is to save the cardboard and or plastic centers from the empty ribbon spools. I have several laying around, but some I've saved for so long the cardboard is too beat up to use (the edges show a bit even when covered with paper). I've also added fabulous felt snowflakes to these, a bit of bling with some glitter, and rhinestone brads on the large ornament! Complete them with ribbon or cord to hang from the tree.

Anyway, the large one I made with giant chipboard snowflakes from a pack I bought from SU last year. These are similar to the chipboard pieces available in the Holiday Collection Stampin' Kit right now through the end of the year or while supplies last! Check out this kit, if you haven't already. It is featured in the December 2008 issue of Country Living magazine in an EIGHT PAGE spread! The kit not only includes dozens of chipboard pieces, but also beautiful die cut designer papers , an exclusive stamp set and many many other items to make lovely ornaments with a hand-made feel!

Wow, look how that turned into a plug for the current promotion and I hadn't even planned on that!

Only 2 Days Left!

Don't miss out on the 15% off Never Before Seen Stamps promotion that is only going on through September 30th, that's tomorrow! Click on the link to the right and make sure you've got everything you want from this list! You may contact me to place your order or click on Shop Now! at the right and place your order yourself. (cards shown here are NOT my own design, they are provided by the Stampin' Up! Website)

I'm trying to be patient waiting for my UPS guy Rob today so I can put together some more craft fair items I'm excited about. They will be super quick so as soon as he arrives I'll throw them together and post a picture for you!

In the mean time, I am working on a perpetual calendar for ME! That's right- something just for me! If it goes well I might make a few to sell, but we'll see... Hopefully I'll get it done today and be able to post it soon too!

Also, an update on my winning entry for the SU contest... it hasn't posted to the SU website today so I'm guessing it will be tomorrow. I've been told it could be either so one more day of waiting I suppose...
Thanks for stopping by!

15% OFF RIGHT NOW!

In case you haven't yet checked it out, please take a minute to click on the promo button to the left that says 15% Off Selected Stamp Sets (unless, of course, you're a demonstrator because you already know all about it!).

Eastern Blooms just happens to be one of those sets and it just happens to be one we received at Convention, so I am happily able to post a few projects with this set. Don't worry, I'll be making more, but here's what I've got so far...

Both of these cards have entirely different looks but are made with the same set. The first also includes 2 of the new In Colors, Riding Hood Red (stamped off for the center flower) and Pink Pirouette. Just to show how nicely our older In Colors can look with the new ones, I've also used Buckaroo Blue on this one. The chocolate dotted paper is from the new Bella Rose DSP which is just a gorgeous collection! And don't overlook the punched scallop border punch that is brand-spankin'-new!

The second card is a funky combination of colors, Elegant Eggplant, Taken with Teal and Kiwi Kiss. I've also used the Sale-a-Bration Happiness Rub-ons in case you still have some lying around, and the 5 petal punch as well as a rhinestone brad that are still available. (A complete list of supplies will be listed below.)

I also wanted to post this picture of all the make-n-takes we were able to complete at Convention! You may have seen them posted all over the net already, but hey... Four of these projects actually feature this Eastern Blooms stamp set as well. The turquoise card on the left is made with the Classy Brass that coordinates with this set called Floral Frenzy on page 191 of the new Idea Book & Catalog. Directly below that is a really cool bookmark we made with a chipboard frame and some of the new Filigree brads (p. 184- check it out, you gotta have those babies!) and then the little mini album to the right of the bookmark. It is adorable and simply to make using a few 3x3 envelopes. Finally, the card to the right of that is made using a rub-on that matches this set called Hidden Garden on p. 178.

If you have questions about any of these other projects feel free to post a comment or email me, I'd be glad to answer!

TTFN,
Kristin
