Textured Floral

We've got an inspiration challenge for you today over on Diva's Coffee Break Designs!! Check out this beautiful swatch- isn't it just divine? I had so many different ideas for this but not enough time so only did one. I started with the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die and the Big Shot with the kraft cardstock. Once I got that gorgeous raised image I gently rubbed my Always Artichoke inkpad over the entire piece so only the raised parts would get ink (and a few of the edges too, but that's OK with me).

Once I had the rest of the card put together I decided to add a touch more color to the roses with the aqua painter and some artichoke ink. I spread it so it was very subtle- just adding a bit of shadow really.

The rest is probably fairly straight forward. I did use the sentiment and the small stem of flowers at the left from Fresh Cuts stamp set. And the large flower from Fifth Avenue Floral is stamped in white on the navy piece.

I must admit that the wide organdy ribbon in navy is by SU, but it retired quite some time ago. I sure do miss those lovely organdy ribbons!
