Extreme Friend!

Hey hey hey, guess what?! All new stuff today! I've gotten two new FREE sets this week from SU and couldn't resist combining them in one card. Extreme Elements entails all those elements in the background. The other set with the hearts is called "I {heart} Hearts" and will be available in 2010 in the SU Occasions Mini catalog I believe so this is your Sneak Peek!!

This is one of those cards that started out kind of rocky- I tried to embrace the "less is more" rule of thumb, but just couldn't stop myself (or wasn't satisfied so kept going). I tried to do distressed funk- do you think I succeeeded? LOL! In the end it finally worked out for the best I think. It screams pre-TEEN to me and I know my daughter will just love this!

The colors: Purely Pomegranate (oops, I lied, this is retired but you can pretend it is Rose Red), Certainly Celery and Taken With Teal are from the color challenge #65 at Color Throwdown!

Thanks for visiting me today! I'd love for you to drop me a line saying you were here. Gosh that reminds me of high school when it was popular to sign each other's notebooks with grafiti that said "Kristin wuz here!" No wonder I want you all to let me know you've visited- it's nostalgia!

~Kristin
