It's Time! {DCBD117}

Time for another DCBD Challenge! This week our challenge is a sketch. I took a few liberties with it, namely flip flopping the sentiment (which in hindsight I probably could've done at the bottom), no brads on the corners of the main element and my bow is in a different spot.

I decided on the hippo image from Pun Fun and to use a star from the hostess set Darling Dots as the balloon. The hippo is paper pieced and his head is raised ona dimensional.

My colors didn't seem to work out great in this lighting- the card is actually Bashful Blue with a layer of So Saffron on top. The DSP (Delicate Dots) is So Saffron but looks almost Apricot Appeal. The darker blue is Pacific Point.

I hope you'll play along with us! Please see our new DCBD blog where you can find links to other Diva designs and a Mr. Linky to post links to your cards too!

Can't wait to see what you do!
Thanks for visiting!
~Kristin
